What Happens Once the NEET 2022 Result is Declared?
Once the result is declared, the NEET counseling process for MBBS admissions will begin. Only those candidates who meet the minimum qualifying percentile for NEET Cutoff 2022 will be eligible for admissions. Eligibility Criteria for Counselling
Here are the proper eligibility criteria that students need to follow to appear for the NEET Counselling 2022 process:
- Candidates who qualify for NEET will be eligible to apply for NEET 2022 counselling
- Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir will not be eligible to participate in the All India NEET Counselling unless they give their consent
- Only those candidates eligible who register for NEET 2022 counselling on the official MCC website
- The AIQ counselling for all Deemed Universities will be open for all NEET-Qualified students
Counselling Process
The Medical Counselling Commitee will be conducting the NEET-UG 2022 counselling for AIQ in four rounds, which will include a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the remaining seats will be filled in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round.
The Mop Up round is one of the steps of counselling of seat allotment in medical colleges by states against the reverted seats from the All India 15% quota. While on the other hand, a stray round Is that round of counseling that generally happens after the Mop-Up Round. Here the remaining seats are offered to the waiting candidates.

- Visit the official Medical Counselling Committee (MCC )website
- Complete the MCC NEET registration process, including payment
- NEET 2022 counselling choice filling and locking
- Round 1 seat allotment and result announcement
- Reporting to the allotted Medical/Dental College
- The vacant seats of Round 2 are then published
- NEET counseling round 2 registration (not necessary for already registered candidates) and fresh choice filling for NEET counselling round 2
- Round 2 of seat allocation
- Reporting to medical/dental colleges/institutions in preparation for round 2 (candidates once joined the allotted seat are not allowed to vacate the seat)

Cutoff
